A DREAM has come true for schoolgirl Gemma Gordon.
The 14-year-old Rainhill High School pupil has qualified to ride in the Horse of the Year Show at Wembley in September.
It follows a series of tough qualifying events in the UK Riders Class for under 16s.
Gemma's mother, Denise, commented: "Gemma's really happy. It's like Christmas all over again."
The success is a result of a real team effort.
For Gemma's horse, CTL Desert Strike, a 14.2 hands Arab cross, belongs to her friend, Tracey Cleaver, from Whiston.
And she receives valuable sponsorship from Christmas Tree Land.
