BOWMAKER Chris Halstead has struck the right chord with his customers.
Despite only being in business for just over a year Chris already counts the BBC Philharmonic orchestra among his customers.
Chris founded his firm with help under the FirmBase scheme for start-up business in East Lancashire and got help from Pendle Enterprise Trust.
"I knew there was a demand for my business because there aren't many bowmakers in the North of England," said Chris, of Colne.
"But it would have been difficult to get established without the business planning, accountancy and marketing advice and training I got from FirmBase."
Chris took up bowmaking while he studied for a degree in music.
