A CRECHE for youngsters aged between two and eight is among new attractions at Safeway's store in Chalon Way, courtesy of a "substantial investment."
Among changes are new fresh meat and fish counters, plus in-store pizzeria, while the creche, run by fully-qualified nursery nursing staff uses an electronic tagging device which prevents a child being taken out by anyone other than their parent/carer. Store manager David Furness said: "Following our 12-week re-fit we hope our customers will be pleased with the new look. I'd also like to thank them for bearing with us during the refurbishment."
