YOUNG pupils from a Newton primary school and their parents went 'cartoon crazy' when they helped make an animated advice video on how to help children with their studies.
Entitled 'Helping Your Child In School', the five-minute video was produced by District CE Primary School, Patterson Street, through its links with Partnership With Parents.
The children and their parents made the video with the help of the Jackdaw Studio, Liverpool, where they attended once a week for 10 weeks. They even produced their own background music which was recorded over the video. The finished product will be shown to schools in Newton.
