POLICE are hunting a fat tattooed sex attacker who pounced on his victim in a midnight attack.

A 20-year-old woman was walking her dog on the field at the back of Merton Bank School at about 12.30am when a man ran at her, knocked her to the ground and indecently assaulted her.

A struggle took place and the man ran off after the woman kneed him in the groin.

The attacker is described as white, 5ft 8in/9in tall and of average build with a 'podgy' belly.

He was in his late 20s and had short, dark hair with a fringe, a long face and chubby cheeks and a tattoo of a swallow on the left side of his neck.

He also had a front tooth missing and was wearing jeans and a suede jacket. The attack took place on Friday July 24.
