RONNIE Baxter faces world number one Rod Harrington in the biggest game of his professional career tonight.

The Hyndburn arrows ace reached the final of the World Matchplay Darts Championship at the Winter Gardens in Blackpool after a nail-biting 13-11 victory over Bristol's Chris Mason.

And Baxter is confident he can land the £14,000 winner's prizemoney.

A hoarse girlfriend Rachel Pallister said: "It was nip and tuck all the way last night.

"This is his biggest game, without a doubt.

"But there is no nervousness at all. We are all confident he is going to do it."

Baxter has already performed one act of giant-killing to reach the semi-finals, disposing of Phil Taylor.

Harrington, 'The Prince of Style', reached the televised final by beating Keith Deller.
