ROCK FM's longest-serving DJ Simon 'The Boy' Ross has left the station to become an evening presenter at Capital Radio in London.
Speaking on the move, he said: "I will miss Lancashire and everyone at Rock FM a great deal. My six years at Red Rose were very enjoyable and I made a lot of friends. However this is a great new challenge for me."
Red Rose programme director, Andy Roberts said: "It's a fantastic move for Simon who has been a great mate of mine. He told me Capital was the only station he'd leave us for as he was always wanted to work there."
He added: "Everyone at the station wishes Simon all the best in the future."
