I WANT to thank two young drivers who helped me when I fell in the town centre on December 23 while crossing the road. A young man had got out of his car and ran across to help me to safety. A second sat me in his car and offered to take me to hospital, but I said no. Then, he ran me home and watched me go in, before driving away.
Nothing was broken, just badly bruised, but although I am taking it gently I do want these two young men to know how grateful I am for their help. God Bless you both and a very Happy New Year.
J GREGORY (Mrs), Oakenhurst Road, Blackburn.
