HUNDREDS of young and young at heart theatre-goers had a ball as panto season kicked off at Colne Municipal Hall.
Audiences enjoyed the first performances of Cinderella yesterday and the show will run until January 17. Lydia Griffiths, winner of ITV's Big Big Talent Show, stars in the lead role with support from George Critchley as Buttons and Roger Darrock and Stephen Howe as the Ugly Sisters.
The cast also includes the Susan Chippendale Dancers, of Colne.
The show is directed by Glen Hayes and producer is Mark Andrews.
Gary Hood, Pendle Leisure Services entertainment manager, said: "There's nothing better than panto time whether it's a trip out for the kids, an association outing or an evening with family and friends. It's guaranteed entertainment for all ages." Tickets from the box office on 01282 661234.
