TWO new free guides to help firms get to grips with the electronic revolution have been launched.
The guides are available from the East Lancashire branch of the Information Society Initiative, a government-backed programme to help firms capitalise on new technology.
The guides cover how the internet can help small firms and how e-mail and fax can be used to improve the way businesses work.
"They are a valuable source of impartial information for company managers who suspect that they stand to benefit from communications technology but have so far hesitated to take the plunge," said David Baxter, project director of the Information Society Initiative.
The guides are available free of charge from the ISI local support centre at Clayton-le-Moors or by contacting 0345 152 000.
