SEVENTY jobs were lost in Darwen including 38 at envelope makers Chapman Inveresk and 32 at neighbouring factory New Waterside Paper Mill, Eccleshill.
But company bosses said that despite severe pressures on the UK printing, publishing and paper making industries, no more job losses were expected.
