POP rockers Cola Moon are putting the finishing touches to their latest single, which they hope will springboard them to stardom.

The popular Rossendale band, who have a number of Lancashire dates lined up as well as unconfirmed appearances in big cities around the country, have just filmed a promotional video to try and boost their chances of success.

The young Ramsbottom band's single will include three tracks - The More Things Change, Photographs, and Last Dollar.

The promotional video is set to be completed this month, and will feature tracks from the latest single.

But the band say that if sufficient demand is there, they will release the video as a "stand alone" item for their fans. The five-piece, led by Alex Kirkley, 19, of Bolton Road West, Ramsbottom, have already had radio play in the United States and have attracted interest from local talent scouts.

The group are planning a major publicity launch to back the single and look close to moving beyond the Lancashire and Manchester circuit. A band spokesman said: "We are hopeful that this single will help the band make a really big impact.

"As well as a lot of local shows, there are also a number of other gigs coming up, as yet unconfirmed - including Manchester, Cardiff, Liverpool and London."
