A HOTEL'S version of the Spice Girls helped to raise £1,000 for Macmillan Cancer Relief.
Fourteen glamour girls who are customers at the Royal Hotel, Waterfoot, got dolled up in trendy Spice Girls gear and went "on tour" in two hired limousines.
They visited pubs throughout Rossendale, pushing sales of raffle tickets for the charity.
Royal Hotel licensee Maria Stannard said: "The girls looked great and had no difficulty getting people to dig deep into their pockets."
The £1,000 cheque will be handed over to the Macmillan fund on Thursday.
In the Royal's Spice Girl line-up were Emma Stannard, Kerry Schofield, Tina Allan, Jamie Clegg, Sara Darwin, Donna Hartley, Rosie Brennan, Sally Trippier, Emma Maden, Mandy Tattersall, Angela Tattersall, Lynette Megahy, Melanie Timperley and Rachel Johnson.
