More than 60 residents in London Road, Blackburn were without electricity for over an hour yesterday when Norweb cut off their supply in order to deal with an underground cable fault.
One home lost its supply at 11.52am and did not have it restored until 7pm while workmen, who had to cut the power to other homes between 4.30pm and 5.40pm, corrected the fault.
