SHARES in bed giant Silentnight are being tipped for a strong performance in 1999.
The Barnoldswick-based bed giant has been named as one the share tips of the year by stock market magazine Investors Chronicle.
Neighbour Rolls-Royce is also in the list of the top 10 tips.
And Silentnight's prospects have also been given the thumbs up by stockbrokers Henry Cooke Lumsden in their latest monthly review of shares.
Blackburn-based spectacle manufacturer Crown Eyeglass is rated as a hold by the firm, Scapa Group as a hold, Skillsgroup as a hold/buy and Wardle Storeys and Wolstenholme Rink as buys.
