MUSLIMS burned a copy of Salman Rushdie's Satanic Verses after the Lancashire County Council libraries committee decided not to ban it from the county's shelves.
Banners and placards were displayed during the protest outside the Masjid-E-Noorul Islam mosque, Dewhurst Street, Blackburn.
