THE Clarets Independent Supporters' Association ended their boycott of Burnley FC merchandise when chairman Peter Heywood bought a replica shirt at the Turf Moor club shop.
CISA's season-long protest was a result of their dissatisfaction with the previous Burnley board's handling of the takeover issue at Turf Moor.
But following the introduction of Barry Kilby as the club's new chairman, a cash-linked invitation to Ray Ingleby to join the board and the on-going financial re-structuring of the club, courtesy of a share issue, CISA have altered their stance.
At a meeting on Saturday, members agreed unanimously to a recommendation from the association's committee to end the boycott.
After Burnley's 2-1 home defeat by Chesterfield, Peter Heywood splashed out on a shirt which he received from Barry Kilby to mark a thawing in relations.
