WHAT a woeful piece of journalism (LET, January 11) for the table-topping Blackburn Hawks.

If he asked the management the following questions, your reporter could provide some interesting news that would answer his own "low crowd" comments.

If one exists, What is the Arena's ice hockey marketing strategy?

Why sack players after the transfer deadline and while the team are on top of their league?

What sort of an accountant have they hired? Did he/she get the budget completely wrong?

Has anyone got the authority to switch on the heating so that the "low crowd" can watch the game in some degree of comfort?

Does the management actually support senior hockey? If not, why are they encouraging the junior hockey?

The above suggestions, along with a decent match report, would make far more interesting reading on a Monday evening.
