THE recent news (LET, January 5) of a businessman lending £100,000 to the Only Foals and Horses Sanctuary in Oswaldtwistle, is wonderful.
However, let's remember that the 'one in a million' fund, begun last July by Sylvia Soltau, is appealing to the public for donations.
Support so far has been tremendous - the fund stands at £10,000, which is a magnificent achievement in six months.
Well done, to all who have contributed so far.
