LAST Tuesday, when it snowed, the bin men did not come to pick up our bin as normal. They came on Friday.
And I think they deserve a bouquet because, as my wife had the flu, rather than having her go out with the bin, they shouted over the gate to her to leave it where it was.
They came in the back garden, took the bin, emptied it and brought it back again - and smiled. I think they are brilliant.
I would like to say a big thank you to the bin men of Burnley.
