I AM heartily sick of criticisms of the drink-drive campaign operated by the police during the festive season.
In my opinion, anyone who has a problem with this campaign has something to feel guilty about.
I, for one, would not object to being stopped by the police and breathalysed any time.
In fact, I would feel secure in the knowledge that our police were doing their job - the job they were paid for, by protecting the innocent from criminals.
I also feel that random breathalysing should be the norm all year round and I am sure that relatives of drink-drive victims would agree with me.
So, for goodness sake stop whingeing and moaning - a relative of yours could be the next victim of a drunken driver.
