Ins and outs of Star Wars
STAR WARS - The Visual Dictionary, by David West Reynolds (Dorling Kindersley, £12.99)
IF you are into Star Wars, this book is a must. Every feature of the characters, droids, costumes and weapons, is explained and every detail is shown in terrific illustrations.
I particularly like the layout and colour, and especially the photographs, which are very clear and realistic.
The book is suitable for anyone aged around eight and over, and is one you will look at again and again.

Illustrations at their best
STAR WARS - The Incredible Cross Sections: The Ultimate Guide to Star Wars Vehicles and Space Craft, by David West Reynolds, illustrators by Hans Jensenn and Richard Chasemore (Dorling Kindersley, £12.99)
THERE are lots of good things about this book, but the best is the very large illustrations revealed when you pull open the unfolding pages.
These are really great, showing all the features of the outside and inside of the vehicles in tremendous detail.
There are illustrations on every page, including the front and back covers, so if you are interested in Star Wars and technology of the future, this is the book for you.

Step-by step dance guide
DANCE, by Andree Grau (Dorling Kindersley, £9.99)
THIS book is fantastic and gives us lots of information about all kinds of different dances.
Morris, tango, flamenco and, of course, line dancing, are all included, along with lots of others from around the world
You don't just learn about the dances themselves, but about the lovely bright costumes, the musical instruments used and some of the stories depicted in the dances. It even shows you what goes on behind the stage.
The pictures in the book are especially attractive, making it a lovely book to look at and a very interesting one to read.
