THREE East Lancashire athletics clubs are on the worldwide web - Blackburn Road Runners, Rossendale Harriers and Todmorden Harriers. Dave Swift who manages Blackburn's site has contacted the others, and all three clubs have set up links with each other. This means that you can access each site directly from any of the other clubs.

Keith Parkinson Computing Services maintains the Todmorden site, and it is clearly run by a professional. Other runners will be particularly interested in the links page where you will find around 25 other sites to visit. There are also useful comments to point you at the most worthwhile sites.

The Rossendale Harriers pages have been designed by club member Andy Buttery. They include a few items from the club magazine Harrier, details of club meetings and all the latest results from races in which the members have competed. The site also features pictures by Lancashire Evening Telegraph athletics round-up photographer Steve Bateson, who is a club member.

Blackburn Road Runners' site is in its infancy and is still taking shape. There are items from the club magazine including the standards system where runners chase target times. Dave hopes to expand the menu with contributions from club members. If there are any other clubs in the area on the net, make yourself known to Dave, he will link to your site, and we will publish your address.
