GRUNGE rockers Scapegoat have secured an appearance at a top Manchester venue and are also busy recording.
The band, who won through to the final of last year's Battle Of The Bands at Chaplin's Music Bar, Burnley, are currently recording at Read Hall Studios, Read. The group expect to press 200 copies of their five-track CD.
Scapegoat, whose blend of rock mixes grunge and punk with quieter, more melodic influences, are set to play Manchester Roadhouse on February 17. The band are organising transport for fans and anyone wanting to make the trip should call John Yates on 01282 774385.
