ALTERNATIVE funk rockers Depot 9 are about to embark on an intensive gigging campaign in East Lancashire.
The four-piece Accrington band, formed last June, have a return gig lined up at the Brooks Club in their home town on Friday, February 5.
The band made their debut at the venue last year supporting fellow Accrington pop rockers Easyrider, and made their second appearance in the town at the Barcode, Warner Street, between Christmas and New Year.
Singer and guitarist Matt Lord, 23, guitar player Daz Cooper, 21, and bassist Kris Perry, 21, are all former members of local band Amber, while drummer Peter Lorenz, 20, has played with acts including Plunge and Burst.
They say they draw inspiration from everything from The Smiths and The Doors to Soundgarden and Led Zeppelin.
The lads will be supported at the Brooks Club by Indian Thing, who will be making their first-ever appearance.
Depot 9 also have a show lined up at The Lamb in Preston on February 9 and are awaiting confirmation of a number of gigs in Blackburn, Preston and Accrington. Watch Pulse for more details.
