A FLASH frost brought mayhem to Blackburn's roads with the worst driving conditions for seven years creating localised gridlocks as many roads were completely blocked.
A brewery lorry slid off the Grane Road, Haslingden, a van was blown over in Belthorn and trees were felled by high winds in the Ribble Valley.
