COTTON workers demanded a 12 per cent pay increase, more holidays and higher shift allowances with full sick pay and paid time off for medical screening.
The TGU made the demands for a minimum hourly rate of £3.08, saying cotton workers had contributed to the industry's improved efficiency and productivity.
