AN engineering firm is helping give the world's most famous passenger plane a new lease of life.
The Brookhouse group of Darwen is playing a part in the refurbishment of an Air France Concorde.
The firm is manufacturing tooling and producing specialist parts out of composite materials for the refurbishment being carried out by British Aerospace at Filton.
The tools are being produced in-house by Brookhose Patterns using state-of-the-art machining facilities.
The tools are then used by sister firm Brookhouse Composites, also based in Darwen, to produce the composite components which include interior panels and structural skins.
