MORE than 500 homes were without power for hours after high winds ravaged electricity supplies in Gisburn, Rawtenstall and Abbey Village.
While buildings in the North and South of the county were reduced to rubble, winds reached only 50 mph in East Lancashire and few accidents were reported.
