A NEW centre to help Lancashire's family owned firms thrive has been launched.
The Stoy Centre for Family Business aims to study and encourage the independent business sector which makes up around 76 per of UK companies.
Set up nationally seven years ago, it opened a new regional office in Preston at a launch attended by several East Lancashire firms. A series of workshops, and seminars is now planned by the regional centre.
