BUSINESS bosses in East Lancashire have welcomed the latest interest rate cut.
The East Lancs Chamber of Commerce has been campaigning for a further cut to help local manufacturers in the area hit by the strength of the pound.
"Following the criticisms we have made of Bank of England policy we're delighted that they are at last listening to us," said John Walton, chair of the Chamber's small business group.
