A TWO-week long investigation into some of the uses of modern technology included a close look at newspaper production for around 60 youngsters.
All pupils in year six at Hyndburn Park Primary School made the journey from Accrington to our head office in Blackburn to check out ways in which computers have a vital role to play in all departments.
Photography came in for particular scrutiny with pupils even getting a peep into our dark room and a question and answer session with a photographer.
The visit was completed by a trip to our printing plant to see the plate-making process and finally to receive copies of our newspaper straight off the press.
