POLICE are hunting two boys who shot a man with an air rifle in Blackburn.
The victim had approached the pair around 9pm on January 28 after he spotted them fooling around with the gun on the bank of the Leeds and Liverpool Canal, close to Bolton Road. As he walked away, he was shot in the leg.
The first boy was around 16, 5ft 8in, heavily built with short brown hair. He wore tracksuit bottoms and a dark coat. The second was around 13, 5ft 5in and in dark jeans, dark shoes, a blue coat and a baseball cap.
