BUSINESS leaders met Prince's Trust workers to learn more about the Blackburn team's work helping young people aged 16 to 25 rise to new challenges.
About 80 representatives from the county's largest employers, including British Aerospace, Rolls-Royce, Royal Mail and the Lancashire Evening Telegraph, met Prince's Trust volunteers and officials at Ewood Park.
They explained how major employers can help support the charity, which brings together employed and unemployed people to organise community projects and learn valuable skills.
Past volunteers also spoke about how the 12-week programme had helped to motivate them and set them in the right direction. The event was part of a new initiative between the Prince's Trust and Blackburn Rovers to ensure more young people benefit from the programme.
