AN East Lancashire pet shop owner admitted causing unnecessary suffering to a lizard he sent through the post.
The lizard was found, starving and dehydrated, in a damaged cardboard packet at Preston sorting office. The pet shop owner said it had been sent to him virtually dead so he decided to post it back to the supplier.
