AIRCRAFT fitter Bernard Connell was the envy of his colleagues after winning a transatlantic trip.
Bernard was the lucky employee chosen out of the hat to go on the trip to St Louis, Missouri, for the hand-over of the 100th T45 aircraft to the United States Navy. The aircraft is used to train pilots.
Bernard has worked on the T45 forward centre fuselage for six years and was one of 50 employees that were entered into the draw.
