FIXTURES for March could be thrown into complete disarray by the outcome of the cup ties being staged over the next few days.
Both Rovers and Everton - due to meet on FA Cup sixth round day on March 6 - are involved in the fifth round and progress for either would mean a Premiership postponement.
In midweek, Wimbledon take on Spurs in the second leg of the Worthington Cup semi-finals, with Rovers due to entertain the Dons on the weekend of the final, March 20.
The two London clubs are level after the first leg.
More changes could also be in the offing, with Rovers due to meet Manchester United on FA Cup semi-final weekend in April.
STEPHANE Henchoz and John Filan were Ewood's top players for January, according to the ratings issued by Match Magazine.
The Swiss defender and the Aussie keeper averaged eight out of 10, putting them in joint fifth place overall in the Premiership. Arsenal's Emmanuel Petit was top man with 8.33.
Callum Davidson also made the top 10, with an average of 7.66 for his three games during the month.
All three Rovers players had one starman apiece during January.
ANYONE without tickets is advised not to travel to St James's Park tomorrow for the FA Cup fifth round tie. Rovers expected to dispose of the last remaining tickets from their allocation this morning and sales were due to end at 11am.
There will not be any seats available on Tyneside tomorrow.
THE youngsters from the under-17 Academy side had a great day out in the midlands last Saturday. In the morning, they hammered their Aston Villa counterparts 4-0 and then had seats for the big match.
"It was really pleasing that they could see first-hand how young players like David Dunn, Marlon Broomes and Damien Duff had progressed," said Academy assistant director Rob Kelly.
"David was in the youth team himself this time last year."

FANS are reminded that next Tuesday's planned function with the Ewood keepers has been called off because of the re-arranged game at Chelsea.
Tickets for the Chelsea game will be on sale until 12 noon on Tuesday and there will not be any available at Stamford Bridge on the day of the match.
Chelsea do not offer concessions and seats are priced £23. They are situated in the East Stand lower tier, which is along the side of the pitch.
AFTER facing Manchester United away this morning, both Academy teams are in action at Brockhall next Saturday. The under-17s and under-19s entertain Manchester City (kick-off 11am).
TICKETS are currently on sale for next Saturday's Premiership game against Sheffield Wednesday at Ewood (3pm).

ANOTHER victim of the re-arranged Chelsea match is next Wednesday's scheduled Pontin's League fixture at Aston Villa.
SEATS are now on open sale for the Premiership game at West Ham on Saturday, February 27 (3pm). They are priced £22 adults, £15 juniors and senior citizens and are in the Centenary Stand lower tier which is situated behind one of the goals.
