A CARIBBEAN evening and a Roses darts match are just some of the more wacky events lined up for Lancashire and England cricketer Warren Hegg's Benefit Year.
The popular wicketkeeper, who is currently touring with England in Australia, has organised a series of fundraisers during 1999, including clay pigeon shoots, celebrity golf days and sportsman's dinners.
A celebrity cricket match at Nelson CC (May 27), sportsman's dinners at the Dunkenhalgh (Sept 2) and Haslingden CC (April 9), and a Celebrity/Am Golf Day at Pleasington GC (Aug 16) are also on the agenda in the East Lancashire area.
