THE reporters of the Lancashire Evening Telegraph continue to show their ignorance of the geography of Blackburn.
Fairhope Court (LET, February 8) is not, nor ever has been in Bank Top. Bank Top is on the opposite side of Preston New Road.
And yet the reporters persist in putting all the streets on the west side of Blackburn in Bank Top - unless they are writing about East Park Road. They put that in Brookhouse!
If they want to be politically correct, why don't they put us in "Corporation Park."
The editor always has an excuse for this complaint - I wonder what it will be this time?

Footnote: No excuses - this was an error made by a reporter. But, according to our records, this is the only time we have wrongly placed Fairhope Court in Bank Top.
It is, in fact, in Corporation Park ward and East Park Road is in Shear Brow ward - Editor.
