The visit by pupils in years 5 and 6 at Sabden County Primary School extended their Newspapers in Education literacy project and combined it with their interest in high-tech photography.
Pupils have used their school's digital camera to produce their own personalised calendars and were particularly keen to see the working of our picture desk.
A question and answer session from photographer Jack Barry provided an added bonus before completing the visit with a trip to our printing plant near Bolton.
