NELSON lost their proud unbeaten record with a hefty defeat at the hands of Clitheroe in the Blackburn Philanthropic Youth League's Under-18s shock of the day.
Once again the weather played a big part in disrupting the fixtures with only a handful of games played.
Great Harwood Rovers moved closer to the leaders in the Under-12s with a fine victory at Roman Road.
Results - Under -18s: Clitheroe 6, Nelson 0; Burnley GSOB 5, Whinney Hill 2.
Under -17s: Rossendale Valley 3, Feniscowles 1; Gt Harwood Town 5, Mill Hill St Peter's 3.
Under-14s: Roman Road 1, Rossendale Valley 1.
Under-12s: Mill Hill St Peter's 16, Mellor 1; Roman Road 2, Gt Harwood Rovers 5; Feniscowles 1, St Mary's College 5.
