FRIENDSHIPS forged in uniform invariably stand the test of time.
Further evidence of this comes from former sergeant Norman Donaldson, who writes in pointing out that he's keen to tie up again with a St Helens comrade from more than 40 years ago.
He and Fred Wilcock served together with 36 Squadron, Royal Engineers, between 1952 and 1957.
So if you're out there Fred (or somebody knows where he is) Norman would be pleased to be contacted at 44 Cheltenham Way, Mablethorpe, Lincolnshire LN12 2AX, ttel. 01507- 473604.
