A RATHER nasty letter over Cllr Grattan's signature last week, having a go. I wonder who wrote this one for him. It's largely venomous nonsense, and I wish Grattan or whoever would get their facts right.
I've never met, spoken or corresponded with Mr Westwell. What Grattan and other members of the so-called Labour group on the council seem unable to understand is that quite unconnected members of the electorate can be motivated to oppose them for reasons which have nothing to do with party politics. We are outraged by the deceitful hypocrisy and dismayed by the damage done to the district. The sooner this lot pay for their misdeeds and disappear into well deserved obscurity the better. Apart from that, I shall refrain from commenting on Grattan's letter. His amazing insistence on reaffirming his shameful remarks about David Christley is likely to be of more interest to Mr Christley's lawyers.
