BOOKWORMS at a Blackpool primary school burrowed through their favourite books to mark the National Year of Reading.
Pupils and staff at St Kentigern's RC Primary School, on Newton Drive, went to the Zoo, worked with a drama group and even dressed up as animals as part of their wildlife book week.
The Deputy Mayor and Mayoress of Blackpool, Don and Gill Clapham, were among those who came into the school to read their favourite animal stories to the children.
Other readers included Charles Bennett, Blackpool's reader in residence.
