IF you're a proud owner of a dog, you could be in with a chance of feeding fido free for a whole year.
Publishing company Psychic Frog, is scouring the country for photographs of our four-legged friends for possible inclusion in a new book.
All entrants will receive a free doggie treat and the best photograph received from readers of the Citizen will have a professional framed photograph of their dog taken by the official Psychic Frog photographer.
There is also a chance of winning the national prize of a year's worth of dog food worth up to £500. The book, due for publication in July, will be an essential guide to all dogs for both new and established dog owners.
It will contain sections on all aspects of choosing and owning a dog, including breed temperaments, grooming, understanding your dog's habits.
A dog which may seem cute as a puppy may not suit your lifestyle as it gets older. The idea of the book is to help readers make a more informed choice.
So get snapping. You may send up to three photos of your dog but make sure you write the breed, your address and the dog's pet name on the back of each. If you would like your photos returned send an sae with your entries.
Photos should be sent to Citizen Newsdesk, St Annes Buildings, Clifton Drive North, St Annes, Lancs, FY8 2NA, by March 4.
