SO committed is Ann-Marie Dainty to her community that she's prepared to suffer having a freezing cold head over the winter weeks.
Ann-Marie (pictured) decided to shave her head to raise £160 for Mount Avenue and Hill Road Residents' Association in Lancaster.
"The thing is she looks as good with her shaved as she did before," laughed fellow association member Julia Duncan (also pictured).
Money raised by the association goes on a number of projects including taking the children from the two streets on days out. "The area had a bad reputation before we started up four years ago but we've managed to turn that round," said Julia.
