FORMER students who started at Nelson Grammar School in 1950 are invited to meet their old school chums at a reunion later this year.

The nostalgic get-together is being organised by three ex-pupils Pat Ormerod (nee Smith), Brenda Root (nee Short) and Harry Manning.

The event will be held at Nelson Cricket Club on Saturday, September 25.

Wives, husbands and partners of people who started at the school in August 1950 are welcome.

Many of the the old school pals will not have met for over 40 years.

Any former members of staff from that era 1950-56 are also invited to the get-together.
