CHRISTIANS throughout the North West will make their way to Clitheroe tomorrow to see a millennium show backed by pop icon Sir Cliff Richard.
Hopes and Dreams, a professional multi-media musical backed by Christian Churches in Britain, is touring the UK, including Ribblesdale High School.
Local amateur dance and drama groups are taking part in the production, giving them the opportunity to perform with a professional touring cast.
The music for Hopes and Dreams has been written by Paul Field, who composed "All That Matters" for the Diana, Princess of Wales tribute album.
Sir Cliff, who appears on the CD recording of the show, said he hoped the event would help make the world a better place.
Tickets for performances of Hopes and Dreams in Manchester and Preston sold out so fast that demand for the Clitheroe event has been high.
Whalley minister Chris Cheeseman said the event was a sell-out, with an audience of more than 600 expected.
