POLICE are hunting a driver who ran off after two cars collided at the junction of Halifax Road and Burnley Road, Brierfield, at 6.30pm on Saturday.
One vehicles, a Renault Clio, burst into flames but driver Harry Mandeena, 57, of Venables Avenue, Colne, escaped unhurt. The other car, an Austin Montego, was damaged at the front.
PC Owen Johnson said the Montego had not been reported stolen but they were still trying to trace the driver.
