THE OWNER of an East Lancashire haulage firm which delivers to Sainsbury's stores across the county and in Scotland today blasted thieves who stole two £70,000 vehicles from her 14-strong fleet.
The raid at B J Transport on Station Road Industrial Estate in Great Harwood happened between midnight and 2.45am yesterday.
Owner Sharon Davies, who set up the business three years ago, said: "It's disgusting what these people have done. They don't realise what this sort of effect this can have on the business and livelihood of the drivers.
"Something like this could quite easily jeopardise our main contract with Sainsbury's."
"Whatever happens it is going to cause added inconvenience and cost."
Thieves forced their way into a compound and took the white Scania tractors, registration numbers R240 JNL and R713 OBV.
